BTS Is Reuniting In June 2025: Here Is Everything You Need To Catch Up On As A Baby ARMY

I cannot wait for this ultimate comeback — borahae BTS!

THIS IS NOT A DRILL — BTS is coming back together in June 2025!!!

After Jin and J-hope completed their military requirements in 2024, V and RM will be next to complete theirs on June 10th, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11th, and finally Suga being the last member to complete his on June 21st — and then the seven members will be back together!

It's been a whole 2 years without our favorite members together. And it has certainly left a hole in our heart.

For the new baby ARMYs that joined during their military enlistment — there is no need to fear. This is THE guide to catch up on BTS's greatest moments and their activity during enlistment — so you can get ready to witness the greatest comeback!

Get buckled in — it's going to be an awesome ride.

    1. Before the members set off for their enlistment, each of them released their solo albums—and it was a LOT.

A collage of eight music album covers, each with unique designs and artistic styles

Jin released a single, The Astronaut, before enlisting in December 2022 as a goodbye to us ARMYS —performing it for the last time at Coldplay's concert in Buenos Aires. Jack In The Box was J-hope's last album before following Jin, enlisting early in April 2023.

Meanwhile the rest of the members continued releasing albums and taking part in promotions around the world before enlisting in late 2023. And you can bet my Spotify was playing these albums on REPEAT. What can I say... BTS always delivers bops.

    2. Suga became the first BTS member to hold a successful solo world tour, D-Day, across Asia and USA.

Suga went on an intensive solo world tour, having three concerts in several cities like Los Angeles, Jakarta, Singapore, etc. It kicked off on 26th April 2023 and ended with a bang on August 3rd, in Seoul. I'm jealous of everyone who saw Suga rap Daechwita with that hair.

    3. Jungkook and the Calvin Klein 2023 Campaign — which had all of us dead.

Calvin Klein got all ARMYS in a chokehold by revealing their new ambassador with these spicy pictures. And it had our attention. But it didn't end there...

Jungkook's washboard abs were all over billboards and had ARMYS savoring every walk and drive.

This is a moment to be written in history books for BTS. (Hats-off to the marketing of Calvin Klein)

    4. Jimin and Taeyang from Big Bang gave us the collaboration of the year with this banger - Vibe.

We did not see the biggest K-pop groups collaborating, coming our way and certainly not the main dancers of the groups. It's fair to say, the song was an absolute craze amongst ARMYs and other K-pop fans.

    5. Jimin and Jungkook's singles Seven and Like Crazy achieved solo No. 1s on Billboard Hot 100s in 2023.

Both the members held the number one spot for a week each - breaking the ceiling further for their members and the band. I mean BTS's competition is BTS itself.

    6. Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga were invited to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in 2023, to promote their new songs —giving us content of them being themselves we will value FOREVER.

ARMYS love to see our members interact with Jimmy Fallon. Every time they meet, its like a dopamine hit.

    7. Jungkook gave us a surprise performance at TSX Entertainment in Times Square, New York City on 9th November, 2023!

Wearing Calvin Klein from top to bottom, JK surprised New Yorkers and fans alike with a free concert, promoting his album, Golden, in the midst of Times Square. It created a frenzy amongst the ARMYs and was also livestreamed on their YouTube channel.

    8. RM released his award-winning album, Right Place, Wrong Person in May 2024 in the middle of his military enlistment.

With 11 tracks, the album is about emotions that everyone has probably felt at some point in their lives—like feeling like a stranger or being out of place. This album fits RM's vibe perfectly, with its mellow, funky, yet meaningful lyrics. The song, Lost, won four awards at Germany's Ciclope Festival: two golds for direction and production design, and two bronzes for cinematography and color grading.

    9. Jin was named brand ambassador of Gucci in August 2024—another luxury house in the bag for BTS!

Mister World Wide Handsome found himself donning vibrant Gucci colors and slaying it! His pictures always shine bright, and this announcement got ARMYS waiting for more appearances of him looking absolutely fine

    10. Jimin and Jungkook released their highly awaited travel show, Are You Sure?! on Disney Plus.

Ever since Run BTS and Bon Voyage came to a halt with the band's break for solo work, ARMYs were craving the silly travel content that made the members so loveable. And so the maknaes (younger members) released their own show where they would travel to three places by themselves and indulge in all activities, and film drool-worthy mukbangs.

Watching Jimin and JK being their usual selves healed all our hearts waiting for the seven to rejoin.

    11. V was featured in IU's Love Wins All music video and proved why he is a great actor — and boyfriend material.

ARMYs collectively lost their minds upon seeing these pictures. Ever since "Hwarang", ARMYs have known that V is an all-rounder who is great at acting. However, seeing him in the role of boyfriend with THE IU got us fumbling.

    12. J-hope released his new album, Hope On The Street, during his military enlistment.

Released on March 29, 2024, this special album is rooted in J-hope's street dance. Featuring multiple artists, this album explores J-hope's artistic spectrum.

After finishing his mandatory military enlistment, J-hope released two singles, Sweet Dreams Ft. Miguel and Mona Lisa.

Following the release of these two songs, J-hope announced a world tour called Hope On The Stage across 15 cities, covering North America and Asia.

The tour started on 28th February, and will end on June 1st, 2025.

    13. Jin released two full albums since finishing his mandatory military enlistment: Happy and Echo

His first album, Happy, was released on November 15, 2024. With six tracks, this album boasts of Jin's versatile vocals grounded in rock styles. Following Happy, Echo was released in May 2025. This album has more emotional depth and explores the topics of friendship, love and family. With his music, he is trying to cover all the universal emotions we feel.

During the promotions of Echo, Jin announced his own solo world tour called #RunSeokin_EP.Tour!!

He will be visiting nine cities — the first one being Goyang. The tour starts from 28th June 2025, and ends on 10th August 2025, following which will be the grand comeback of all seven members of BTS. (AHHHHH!)

Whew, that was a lot to cover. While BTS achieved more than can be covered in a list, we are more excited to see what we will be getting when all of them are back together.

And as you catch up on all of this content, I will see you on 21st June.
